Don’t Be That Person

Don’t you hate it when people starts talking when you’re watching a movie? I noticed that this happens a lot in cinema. You’re enjoying a movie and out of no where you start hearing people talking in loud whispers or as if they’re not in a cinema. DON’T BE THAT PERSON.

If you’re late for the movie, enter quietly and find your seat. Don’t make loud noises or start talking the moment you enter. This happens so often. People would just walk in, as if the movie has yet to start when it was at least 15 minute into the movie. DON’T BE THAT PERSON!

If you don’t understand the movie, wait until the movie ended to ask your friends or family. Don’t start asking question throughout the whole movie. It is not only the both of you. It is an entire cinema that can hear you talking. There is a reason why before the movie start, they will advise you to silent your phone and keep your voices down. It is so you do not disturb the others who paid to watch the movie. Don’t be ignorant. No one paid their movie ticket to hear you talk or ask question through the entire movie.

There are some people who treats the cinema like a market place, talking loudly to their friends or family or even being on the phone. And when people told them to hush down, they were ignorant and selfish enough to keep doing what they were doing.

Don’t be that person. You and I both hate people like that in the cinema. It’s not hard to just keep quiet and focus on the movie for the next hour and a half or so. Be respective of others who’re there as well that want to watch the movie.

Alcohol Addiction

Why are alcohol addictive even though it taste horrible? Or are we addicted to how alcohol makes us feel? Alcohol addiction is a real thing. People with this addiction don’t just drink for fun. They drink to forget things. To ease what they’re feeling. To help them escape real life and reality. To forget every pain, every trouble they’re going through. To give them a push to go on with their life.

Alcohol is a form of drug. A very accessible drug. You can get alcohol anywhere from a mart, to shopping malls or even a liquor store. There’s no obstacle for getting it, no one to question you as long as you’re 18 years and above. You can enter a store and buy 10 boxes of beer out and no one will even stop you.

Drinking alcohol is normal, if you drink it occasionally. But if you need at least 1 bottle of alcohol a day to survive, is that normal? One bottle a day, and if one bottle a day can’t help you, add on another bottle. And soon enough, it goes from one bottle a day to ten bottles a day, maybe more. Soon enough, you’ll notice your tolerance for alcohol increases, you don’t get hangover the next day. And you will completely rely on alcohol to get you through the day.

You will want to drink at any given time possible. You will want to hurry home after work just to drink. There’s no one to stop you. You won’t even stop yourself from drinking. Every time you go out, the first stop you’ll make is at the alcohol section. Browsing through alcohol and getting them before making your next move. Being solely dependent on alcohol.

Being addicted to alcohol is a torture. You suffer from withdrawal symptoms, just the same as taking any other drugs when you try to stop. You believe that alcohol helps you in all way and form. That alcohol gives you comfort. Helps you to feel happier on your darker days. Maybe. Maybe alcohol does that.

Don’t be that person who’s addicted to alcohol. Seek help from professional if needed. Turn to your friends or family. They’re willing to help. Alcohol will not do you any good. Alcohol is a slow killer. It’s not easy, but there is always a better alternative and your life will always be better.

Shiseido Sunscreen Review

Shiseido Suncare SPF50++

Shiseido recently revealed their new sunscreen equipped with a protective film that can be strengthened through heat, water and sweat. This product is their new protection technology known as HeatForce Technology.

I’m a huge Shiseido product user, hence, this product makes me excited to say the least. I recently receive three sample pack of this newly suncare sunscreen. It has at least SPF 50++, definitely good for indoor or outdoor. As we all know, even if you’re indoor, you definitely need to apply sunscreen.

It is said that this sunscreen can be used on both face and body, which many company doesn’t produce these kind of product. This product is lightweight when used. Doesn’t feel too heavy nor creamy or oily when used. Not only is this product waterproof, but it is also heatproof, which means, the sunscreen can last longer! There’s no need for reapplying sunscreen every few hours!!

According to Shiseido, this product is made of more 50% skincare formula ingredients, which includes the triple block formula that helps to suppress visible damage caused by UV rays (wrinkles, dark spots and dullness). If you enter Shiseido website to check out on this product, they listed almost everything you needed to know about the sunscreen.

The sunscreen smells really nice and is definitely a good use during summer or travelling to a country that’s pretty hot all year round. It is honestly really easy to apply, just shake the bottle and apply a generous amount on to skin.

Shiseido also claim that The Perfect Protector’s extremely water-resistance and hence will less likely to pollute the ocean water. On top of that, the sunscreen package is made from recycled paper to reduce the waste.

This product only comes in a 50ml size bottle and cost RM188 (approx. $45). If you’re looking for a new sunscreen to try, why not try out Shiseido new suncare? And no, I wasn’t sponsored to write this, although I wish I am. It’s a worth trying out product that might turn into one of your favorite sunscreen product!

Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum Review

I’ve recently had the privileged to get a 7-day free trial sample pack of Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum. They come in a really cute packaging and contains 7 small sample pack for the 7 days. Sulwhasoo is a Korean brand company and this product is semi-new in Malaysia now. Let’s go into what this serum actually is.

The free sample come in these kind of cute packaging. It looks and feel really luxurious.

Based on what their product said on the website, the serum is formulated with JAUM Balancing Complexâ„¢, a potent cocktail of five Korean herbs, this unique prepping serum designed to be the first step post-cleanse that hydrates, nourishes and visibly firms, while boosting absorption of subsequent products that are applied on top. So, let’s take a dive into what they said and the actual product.

The content is quite watery as expected with a strong herbs smell. It’s not a bad smell, but a really calming type or herbs smell and it really do smell nice. The serum is actually in a tinge of orange-y color. Really easy absorbent to the skin and makes the skin feels bouncy. Even though it is said to be a 7-day sample, however, you can actually use it for more than 7 days depending on how much you apply on your skin. For me, I can use 1 pack for about 4 – 6 days. Just press a little and gently pat it all over, covering every area of your face. As long as you managed to have it applied all over your face, you can keep the extra for the next usage. I only use it once a day, during the night because I feel like that’s when my face is bare from sunscreen.

I’m currently on my second sample pack, and it’s been a really good use until today. It feels great on my skin, quite hydrating. I actually enjoy using this product. My skin feels smoother and softer after using the serum which is honestly really great. I’ve never used any activating serum before in my whole life and this is the first time I’m using it.

So, the question is, is this product worth your money? Let’s first dive into the price of this product. The Sulwhasoo serum comes in two different size, 60ml and 30ml bottle. The 60ml cost RM330.00 (approx $80) and the 30ml bottle cost RM199.00 (approx $50). Quite on the pricey side I’ll say.

Sulwhashoo 30ml and 60ml Activating Serum Bottle. Looks really pretty ain’t it.

Is this actually worth getting? If you have the money for it, then yes because even though it is quite pricey and is towards a high end luxurious product, it is definitely worth your money for getting it. Honestly, smells great and feels great on the skin. I highly do recommend trying this product if you get the chance to do so.

If you’ll like to try a new serum, Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum is definitely a serum you should consider trying. However, I do not know if it works for every skin type, but as far as I know, dry skin, normal skin and semi-oily skin (based on my family who also received the free samples) works great with this product. In the end, it really just depends if the product is suitable to your skin type. And for me, I will continue using all of the sample given and let my skin enjoy it.

Tattoos? Big yes?

When the topic about tattoo being brought it, I tend to get excited. I’ve always been in love with tattoos. For me, tattoos are body art, a way to express yourself and for the artist to create/express their self. I’m sure that majority of the people has at least one tattoo on their body.

Tattoos attracts me. Sometimes, I find myself scrolling through different tattoos to get an inspiration or just casually admiring the beautiful artwork on my free time. To me, it is an artwork. I know many people say that ‘your body is a temple’ or ‘you shouldn’t ruin your body by inking on it’. Yes, your body is your temple, but it is your body and as long as you know what you’re doing and will never regret it, do what you think or feel is right.

When it comes to tattoo, make sure you actually take the time to think and choose the correct tattoo that you will never regret it down the road or even a couple days later. We always get excited with each tattoo once we get it, and maybe a few hours later or a couple days later, we tend to hate it. So always, always choose one that you know you will never regret it. Maybe one with a deep meaning to yourself or something that engrave deeply in you.

I remember when I first got my tattoo. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, it took me ages to find one that I actually want and stick to it to see if that IS the tattoo I want to have on my body for life – because I ain’t gonna go through the pain of removing a tattoo. EVER. My first tattoo, is an arrow on my back. Nothing too fancy, but I remember my tattoo artist telling me ‘it suits you really well’.

My first tattoo, on my back.

My own experience- once I get a tattoo, I always wanting to go back and get more. I have two tattoo now, the second one with the word ‘Never Stop Exploring’ on the side right below the under boob side, and I’ll love to get a couple more tattoo. Nothing too big or too fancy again, just a small meaningful tattoo.

My second tattoo, on the side.

Personally, I don’t find getting a tattoo painful. It is more towards, I’ll say addictive. It’s why most people don’t just settle for one tattoo, they always go back and get more. I’ve asked my friends who has tattoo, and they say it is addictive, getting one and then another and another or always have the thought of getting another tattoo until they actually go and get it.

Aftercare for tattoos aren’t all that hard. As mine is small and only just black ink, it is much easier to take care. Mainly uses soap that aren’t too strong to gently was them. And to dry them, use tissue papers to pat them dry instead of using towels because towels are rougher. Wear looser clothes during the healing process.

It takes about two to three weeks for mine to completely heal, however, definitely there will be itches throughout the whole healing process as it is changing new skin. The best method to stop the itches, personally for me, it to use aloe vera or get a moisturizing lotion that’s chemical free. The best aftercare method for your tattoo, is to ask your own tattoo artist. They know better on how to take care of tattoo and what you should and shouldn’t do as it is different for everyone.

But I think, in the end, it is your own choice of wanting to get a tattoo or not. Are you brave enough to endure the needles? Or maybe the pain (for some people)? There are a lot of things to take into mind before getting a tattoo, but in the end, it is only you and you yourself who can decide.

Freely share/comment your tattoo experience or anything on tattoo. If you’re thinking of getting your first tattoo ever and needed reassurance, I’m sure not only myself, but everyone else will help you through it. Just comment down below 🙂

Welcome to Malaysia

Personally, I think Malaysia is great especially when it comes to food choices (not saying this because I’m Malaysian haha). We have various choices in one small food shop ranging from noodles to rice or even different kind of bread. I don’t think I’ve seen any country that have so many different culture food in just one stop.

We, Malaysian, also have one of the heavy breakfast, as I call it, just the same as many other countries. Typically, we will eat rice or noodles in the morning. Not gonna lie, it fills me up till at least way after lunch. So, if I do eat heavy breakfast in the morning, I’ll definitely skip my lunch, or at least have my lunch later in the afternoon.

In many household, you can see Nasi Lemak, a Malay type of breakfast, or Fried Noodles, Chinese type of breakfast and/or Roti Canai, Indian type of breakfast being served. It’s really good, but not only do you eat it as breakfast, but you can have it any time throughout the day. The same as how we sometimes have cereals for dinner and cookies for breakfast kinda thing.

Nasi Lemak (also known as coconut rice), accompanied with peanuts, anchovies, hard boiled eggs, cucumbers, chicken(optional) and sambal (chili paste)
Fried noodles with a hot cup of coffee or tea, with fried eggs and kaya toast.
Roti Canai with curry of your choice and sambal (chili paste)

Looking a the picture of these food makes me hungry. They aren’t expensive and you can get them anywhere. We have a restaurant which we, Malaysian calls it Mamak, that opens 365 days 24/7. If we get hungry at 3am, where do we go? Mamak! Mamak is a restaurant that you can get most of the different culture food in one place along with desserts. I’ll probably talk about the desserts we have here in Malaysia in the next post or so, so stay tune for it 😉

A lot of people I know that visits Malaysia enjoy the food we have. I’ve had a number of friends that visited Malaysia from few different countries and they would always text me how much they want to come back to Malaysia for the food and how much they miss eating those food. And me being me, I would send them pictures of those food that I eat to make them jealous.

I think a great place to explore various kind of food will be Malaysia. We have food range for traditional cuisine to typical Malaysian food to western food (of any country). You name it, we probably have them located somewhere, especially in the heart of Malaysia city (Kuala Lumpur). I call it two birds one stone, but in this a million food in just one stop.

I can write about the Malaysia food for pages and pages, but I’ll rather not keep the post too long and maybe separate them into few different parts. Hence, this post will be a slight introduction to Malaysia and our breakfast.

I hope you enjoy this post as much as I enjoy writing about them. Catch yall in the next post and have a great day 🙂

Vacation to Munich, Germany

I had the opportunity to visit a close friend in Munich, Germany last year (2019) for about 10 days (Christmas to New Years) and it was one of the best vacation. We spend our days eating, sight seeing, and exploring. It was during winter, however it wasn’t snowing. I love the cold and I love winter, so being out in Munich when its all nice and cold feels great.

Alcohol in Germany is really cheap. If you’re at a place/country where you can get your hands on tequila beer, you should definitely try it. One of the best beer out there and I 10/10 recommend it. Besides that, the food portion in Germany is huge and really affordable. Every stop, every shop, you can just grab yourself some food and coffee.

Commuting in Germany is relative easy as you can just buy yourself a weekly or monthly train ticket and you can travel to all the stations. Their train runs 24/7, so never be afraid that you can’t catch a train back. The price isn’t all that expensive either. It was around 18 Euros for a 1 week ticket for me. If you’re considering to grab an Uber, it is really expensive and I will 100% recommend using the train. Depending on your stop, you can reach any of your destination by walking. As long as you have your Google Map, you’re good to go and will never get lost.

However, many places and shops aren’t open during public holidays. So, if you’re considering to visit certain places during the public holiday, your chances are you will have to visit on another day when it is open and not a public holiday. For the Germans, they consider public holiday as a day for them to rest and spend their time with families and friends, hence, the reason why all the shops and tourist places are closed.

Things in Germany are pretty cheap. You can get jewelries for around 5 Euro, cloths around 10 Euro and whatnot. However, if you’re on vacation there and wanting to buy certain items, don’t forget to do currency converter to make sure what you get there is not more expensive than getting it from your own country.

Arriving to Munich, Germany on the first day. It was raining and cold. The perfect weather to explore.
They tend to have musical puppet shows during certain time of the day.

If I am to upload all the pictures I’ve taken, it would probably be pages long. However, I’ve tried my best to write what I can remember from my trip. Every person’s trip is different. But it is best to enjoy your trip the best you can.

I will try my best to talk/explain more of my travels and give as many information as I can for my next travel update or talking of my past travels.

If you’re considering to travel to Germany one day, don’t forget to check some information online before you travel there. And if you do go for a visit, enjoy the best you can. The people there do speak English to a certain amount, so it will not be too hard for you to communicate with them. May you have a great adventure and I hope to be able to travel more in the future!
